Late-Night Wedding Tacos in Charlotte

Here is what happens at [11 p.m.] Dinner was four hours and two cocktails ago. The dance floor is thinning. Somebody’s uncle is talking about leaving. Then the truck window opens and the smell of griddled tortillas and smoked brisket hits the patio — and suddenly the party has another hour in it.

Late-night tacos are the single best money-per-memory decision on a Charlotte wedding budget. Your guests will not remember the third passed appetizer. They will absolutely remember standing outside in their shoes-off, jacket-off, mascara-smudged best, eating a brisket taco at midnight.

Ways We Serve Weddings

Late-Night Service

The main event. We arrive during dinner, set up quietly out of sight, and open at your chosen window — usually [10:30–11:30 p.m.] Two tacos per guest, wrapped in a napkin, no plate, no fork, nothing for your venue to clean. Choose truck service or a passed-tray option if your venue restricts vehicles.

Rehearsal Dinner

A build-your-own taco bar is the least stressful rehearsal dinner format there is. Nobody is seated by family politics, everyone eats what they want, and it costs a fraction of a plated dinner. Starting at [$XX] per person.

Day-After Brunch

This is what breakfast tacos were made for. Hotel block brunch, backyard send-off, or a park pavilion — we bring tacos, coffee, and aguas frescas for the people who stayed up too late. Starting at [$XX] per person.

Welcome Party & Bachelor/Bachelorette

Truck service for [2] hours, casual, handheld, and easy on a Thursday night before the wedding weekend gets expensive.

Venue Logistics

We have worked around most of the constraints Charlotte-area venues throw at caterers. Common ones we solve:

  • No on-site kitchen — the truck is the kitchen. We are fully self-contained.
  • No generators after [10 p.m.] — we run quiet or plug into house power.
  • Vehicle restrictions or tight access — we switch to a portable griddle station and hand-carry.
  • Exclusive-caterer contracts — many venues still allow a separate late-night vendor. Ask, and send us the contract language.
  • Rain plan — we can serve from under a tent, a covered porch, or just inside a doorway.

Venues we regularly serve: [VENUE 1], [VENUE 2], [VENUE 3], [VENUE 4], [VENUE 5]. Do not see yours? We will call them.

Wedding FAQs

How many tacos per person for late night?

Two is standard and almost always right. Guests have eaten dinner. If your crowd is a drinking crowd or your dinner was light, go to [2.5].

What time should late-night food be served?

About [60–90] minutes before your last call, and never during a scheduled dance or toast. For a [midnight] end time, [10:30] p.m. is the sweet spot.

Do you serve non-breakfast tacos too?

Yes. Al pastor, brisket, and carnitas all work at any hour. Breakfast tacos are our specialty, not our limit.

Can you feed our vendors?

Yes, and you should. Vendor meals are [$XX] per person and photographers remember who fed them.
